Parish Life Ministry . . .
Parish Life consists of a variety of groups and organizations that provide social, athletic, wellness, environmental, clerical, creative and care opportunities for all ages of parishioners.
ALTAR SOCIETY
Altar Society membership includes all ladies of our parish. Meetings are every other month, September through May. We provide opportunities for members to gather, attend Noon Mass, share lunch, socialize and listen to speakers. Those who can, volunteer to lightly clean the Church, and to deliver flowers to shut-ins at home or in nursing homes during Christmas and/or Easter seasons.
ATHLETIC MINISTRY
The athletic program at Our Lady of Lourdes provides the opportunity for every child who attends the school or belongs to the parish community to participate in team sports. The program promotes self-esteem and respect for others through competition in a Christian manner, with the emphasis on good sportsmanship. The Athletic Ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes exists for the benefit of the children of our parish who wish to improve their physical and mental well-being by participating in structured athletic programs.
BOOSTER CLUB
Booster Club Membership is open to all women and men of the parish who wish to promote and support the various parish sports programs. The Booster Club is the prime organizer of the annual Homecoming Festival, a celebration of summer for the Parish with social activities, games, good, and family fun. The Booster Club jointly sponsors the Lenten Fish Fries with the PTO. Volunteers work in a variety of activities.

This gathering ordinarily takes place after all masses on the first Sunday of the month, September through June. The purpose is to promote community among parishioners. It is hosted by various groups and ministries of the parish.
