Our Lady of Lourdes hosts a regional Evening Religious Education program for our parishioners and many neighboring parishes on Wednesday evenings, 6:45pm to 8:00pm, from the end of August to the end of end of April. Yearly registration is held at a family pot luck supper on the last Wednesday in August from 6:00pm to 8:00. Curriculum is lectionary based and involves sacrament preparation for First Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation. Because faith formation is an ongoing life process, children in grades 1-8 who do not attend a catholic school are expected to attend each year and not just for sacramental years.
Participation in sports and other extra curriculum activities requires that a child be enrolled and attend the entire year of Religious Education and not just the duration of the activity. Because our parish priority is the faith formation of our families, we are always seeking to support our families in full community involvement at Our Lady of Lourdes.
